Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 18, 2026. This Cookie Policy explains OBAM's use of cookies and similar technologies and how website visitors can manage consent preferences.

Optional analytics and advertising technologies are disabled by default and are activated only after you provide consent through the banner.

For privacy and cookie inquiries, contact legal@obam.dev.

1. Scope and purpose

This Cookie Policy explains how OBAM uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and related pages. It describes what these technologies do, why we use them, and how you can manage your choices.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can remember session details, preferences, and interactions. We may also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, or SDK-based identifiers where appropriate.

3. Cookie categories we use

OBAM uses: (a) strictly necessary technologies required for core website and security functionality; (b) analytics technologies that help us understand site performance and usage patterns; and (c) optional advertising/personalization technologies where enabled.

4. Consent management (Silktide)

We use the Silktide Consent Manager banner to present cookie choices and record preference selections. Necessary technologies remain active because they are essential to core functionality. Optional categories such as analytics and advertising remain off unless and until you affirmatively opt in.

5. How to manage your preferences

You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences by category using the banner controls. You can update your choices at any time by reopening cookie preferences from the on-page cookie icon.

6. Third-party services

Our current website stack includes Vercel for hosting and website analytics. The product stack also relies on Supabase for application infrastructure, Resend for transactional email, and Mollie for payments. A public subprocessor list is available at /legal/subprocessors.

7. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Consent preference records and persistent cookie identifiers remain until they expire, are refreshed, or you clear them through browser or banner controls. We review cookie lifetimes during legal and product updates and will revise this policy when categories materially change.

8. Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. If you disable certain technologies, some website features may not function correctly. Browser controls and consent controls can be used together for more granular management.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. Material updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
